Gays anatomy drag race

RuPaul&#;s Drag Race season 12 queens ranked from meh to yaaas after Gay&#;s Anatomy

The annual RuPaul’s Drag Race acting challenge was finally upon us this week, and our season 12 queens had to whip out their stethoscopes for an episode of parody series, Gay’s Anatomy.

Acting challenges on this show can be a boiling mess sometimes – especially if the script is worst and the cast is awful… but not only was this a excellent challenge, nearly everyone delivered.

Which is what makes the episode so heartbreaking to watch, as the eventual eliminated queen (spoilers below) definitely had a lot more to give, but just didn’t have their head in the game enough to rise above the others.

So who flatlined and who injected some experience into world of Lady Bunny Memorial Hospital?

Here’s our latest rankings for the queens after the latest episode.

Due to events after the episode was filmed, Sherry Pie will not be in our rankings.

This week was very much Jackie’s week – from landing the leading part of Meredith Gay, and delivering with her role, it was also he

OH BOY. After four episodes of queens kindly uplifting each other, this week we have ourselves a good, old-fashioned bitch battle. After receiving barbs left and right all episode long, Aiden Zhane finally snaps, culminating in the best Untucked episodeof the season. After a concise eulogy for the gone-too-soon Rock M. Sakura, the girls waste no occasion telling our resident Scorching Topic brand ambassador who they think really should have been in the bottom. While I personally would never say anything mean about Aiden, the girls do not introverted away from listing all the reasons she should not be here. She takes naps, she poorly embellishes corsets, and she makes more excuses than Charlie Hides lip-syncing a Britney song. Despite all Aiden’s shortcomings, however, the judges see star quality in her — a luminary quality that has yet to be revealed to the rest of the queens, or the Drag Race audience for that matter. Where the judges (and Heidi) “see a fire in her,” the rest of the girls, in the words of Poet Laureate Widow Von’Du,

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12 Episode 5 Recap: Gay&#;s Anatomy

How many times will we hear DeBarge this season&#;

Well folks, we’ve made it through another week of self-isolation, and productive from home, and though the days are blending together, it’s Friday late hours, which means a modern episode of Drag Race is upon us. Unsurprisingly, once again this week’s episode started with the same message about Sherry Pie’s disqualification from the competition. Are you also thinking it’s going to be before every unattached episode too? Only hour will tell.

This week’s episode starts off in the werk room as always, following Rock M Sakura’s tearful elimination. Brita throws some shade at Aiden over her basic stare at the ball. All of the queens commemorate Gigi for her well-deserved win, Nicky Doll says she’s going to press for her personality to shine a little more on the runway. The rest of the queens drag Aiden on the couch for her glance and accuse her of using excuses to cover up the fact that she didn’t deliver with her look on the runway. It’s definitely setting up Aiden to be the Jinkx Monsoo

One thing RuPaul and I hold in common is our indisputable love for Crystal’s sensational mullet – curly, full, and yes, reminiscent of singer El Debarge’s iconic 80’s mane. Her pure adoration of Crystal’s out-of-drag ‘do and the subsequent “Rhythm of the Night” audio clips that play when it’s mentioned are a small treat within these episodes. That just needed to be said before we acquire into episode five.

Last week’s shallow episode of RuPaul’s Queenly Race was partially saved by special guest judge Leslie Jones and her unbridled affectionate for the queens and the show. This week’s episode, despite a strong Maxi Challenge, also needed some kind of pick-me-up, and we were served it in Untucked. The best drama – whether transparently manipulated or not – always makes for better TV and it always comes out in Untucked.

After a tear-jerker of an elimination, the queens are all shocked as they return to the workroom – shocked because of Rock’s passionate departure and the fact that Aiden wasn’t one of the ones lip-syncing for their lives. Jaida is the one to say that she was expecting Aid
