Gays in the marines
Gays in the Military, nice or bad idea, or the right thing to do??
again, your ignorance is really shining through. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot respect for those that assist our country through the military, and I thank all that you've done to serve in the marines. Truly, you are a hero, for your years of valued service.
However, with all due respect, your opinion and logic on this matter is completely flawed. One, you claim that homosexuals are morally corrupt as pedophiles. How exactly is that so? Just because they're different from you, as there is a damn difference. If you can't see that, then you need to choose up a dictionary and look it up, as it just makes you look like a oblivious jerk.
Saying a homosexual is every bit as awful as a pedophile is essentially equivalent if you said to a bunch of minorities that they're morons for not existence white. One pedophiles are predators, that stalk their victims and take lead of young children that are often too unaware about sex, so the pedophile will take benefit of their innocen
Babylon was developed from my Iraq War journals and parts of letters written from Iraq. At the time I was making those journal entries, I probably would have told you I was writing mostly so that if I was killed over there, my loved ones could have some plan of what I was going through. Now I know that I was more likely writing to some future version of myself.
My time in Iraq was the most intensely spiritual time of my life. Sometimes, after a sleepless night on duty, I would stare into the rising sun and feel like the secrets of the ages had been whispered to me. I had heard the stories of Saddam Husseins brutality from the Iraqis themselves, and I believed them. But even as I witnessed kindness toward the Iraqis by some of my fellow Marines, I watched brokenhearted as the
Former Army Linguist calls Marine Corps Commandants Views "Outdated and Biased"
This statement came on the same afternoon that Secretary of Defense Robert Gates released new ordinary sense regulations that will result in fewer investigations and discharges under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT) and reprimanded the Army's Pacific Commander Lt. Gen. Benjamin Mixon for publicly advocating against repeal of DADT in violation of military regulations.
"General Conway is off found and out of line. Gays and lesbians are serving today in the Marines and sharing rooms with other service members with no problems whatsoever," said Jarrod Chlapowski, a former Army linguist who chose not to reenlist due to DADT. "General Conway's unsubstantiated assumptions about the views of Marines is contradicted by hard facts-- 73% of men and women in uniform say they are personally comfortable in the presence of lesbians and gays and 25% of troops in Afghanistan or Iraq knew a member of his or her unit who is lesbian or gay."
"General Conway is selling our Marines concise by assuming they share
